The Long Island Ducks claim a victory against the High point Rockers during game two of a three-game series in High Point. With a win for both teams the series stands at 1-1.

The crowd would erupt during the bottom of the second inning as leftfielder Quincy Latimore hit his 19th home run of the season, putting the Rockers on the scoreboard and giving them the 1-0 lead.

With second baseman Michael Russell on third and Quincy Latimore back at bat, Latimore hit a ground ball to the Ducks’ shortstop Vladimir Frias. Russell sprinted home, giving the Rockers their second run of the night; they would then hold a 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning.

With a tied game in the ninth inning the Ducks would score two unanswered runs to give them the lead. The Rockers weren't able to comeback and would ultimately fall short of the win.
