BB&T Point, a 36 million dollar ballpark, has a capacity of 4,500 people including our suites and luxury boxes. The astroturf field allows games to resume minutes after a rain delay and mimics a perfectly groomed outfield with vertical dark and light green lines. It is also the only all turf field in the Atlantic League. The 2,300 square foot display jumbotron is the largest in the Southeast and sits at an impressive 36 feet high and 65 feet wide.
Our vintage seats section, seated just beyond the right field fence, features seats from 13 different major and minor league ballparks including Fenway Park, Camden Yards, Yankees Stadium, Turner Field and Wrigley Field. They even feature two seats from the Metrodome, home to former Twins star and current Rockers pitching coach Frank Viola.
The High Pint Craft Beer Room, located just behind section 104, is a wonderful space that serves as a gift shop and bar all at once. The lights above the bar inside the High Pint are custom made out of team president Ken Lehner’s personal bat collection. These lights pair with the hanging artwork made out of baseballs and a mural dedicated to the Wright Brothers and their iconic first flight. The center island table that was crafted using a vintage furniture saw, paying homage to the furniture industry that High Point is centered around. The bar is stocked with local beers from vendors like Brown Truck Brewery and Red Oak Brewery, which are priced down every thursday night for our thirsty thursdays whether the team is playing at home or away.
Voting for the second round ends on June 21st, and the Rockers need your help! Fans can vote once a day every day of the competition on multiple devices. Be sure to follow us on facebook and twitter for updates, and visit www.ballparkdigest.com to vote!
