ROCKERS DOMINATE AGAINST REVOLUTION 10-2

High Point takes 2-0 series lead

High Point, NC - The High Point Rockers won the second game of the series against the York Revolution,10-2, in front of a large crowd Tuesday night at BB&T Point. Designated hitter Viosergy Rosa hit his 3rd home run of the season with a two-run home run in the bottom of the 6th inning off of York’s Mitch Atkins.

York struck first with a sacrifice-fly by catcher James Skelton and a one-run double from right fielder Melky Mesa in the top of the 3rd inning.

The Rockers fought back with Rosa’s homerun in the 6th inning and singles from Richie Shaffer, Myles Schroder, and Tyler Marincov in the 7th inning to bring the Rockers up by 6.

First baseman Dante Bichette Jr. finished off the night with a double into left field to score Shaffer and Schroder in the bottom of the 8th inning. Bichette Jr. continues to lead the league in batting average, posting a .411.
