Latimore lights up the Revolution with three-game home run streak

Latimore looks to continue streak against Patriots

High Point, NC - The Rocker’s three game winning streak against the York Revolution wasn’t the only streak made this weekend. Outfielder, Quincy Latimore, currently holds a three-game home run streak while leading the team in RBI’s (14) and now tied for second highest RBI’s across the Atlantic League. Latimore is tied with Dante Bichette Jr. and Richie Shaffer are tied for the most home runs (3) on the Rockers’ roster.

During the first game of the series on Thursday against the Revolution, Latimore hit a line drive home run to left center field in the top of the 5th inning. Hector Gomez also scored from 3rd base. Rocker went on to win 13-6. On Friday, Latimore hit another line drive home run to left centerfield, allowing Stephen Cardullo and Dante Bichette Jr. to both score en route to a 6-3 victory. In the final game of the series, Latimore hit yet another line drive home run to left center field to lead the Rockers to a 8-1 victory against the Revs and close out the series.

Next, the Rockers will play the Somerset Patriots on the road in the three-game series starting Tuesday, May 14th. The Rockers will return home on May 17th against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, their first game of a six game home stand.
